Youtuber of the Month- Lily Pebbles

Hi, so recently I have been getting into watching Lily Pebbles and ViviannaDoesMakeup and I couldn't decide who to do this months post on, but I think since Lily did Every Day May this month month, I think I will start with her. So look forward to a post about Anna next month. You can find Lily's Channel HERE. I hope you enjoy reading.

Lily is a British beauty vlogger, she makes videos about recent Makeup trends and every month she does a Monthly Makeup Routine where she shows us the makeup look and products she has been loving in that month. Her videos are mostly beauty and fashion focused but there are often videos with her boyfriend Rich and her best friend and also beauty vlogger Anna.

As I mentioned earlier, in May Lily vlogged everyday, this was especially good for me because as a fairly new subscriber I didn't really know a  lot about Lily other than her main videos.I am in love with her friendship with Anna, because you can see how much they actually care about each other and it isn't just for show on Youtube. I think when Lily, Rich,Anna and Mark ( Anna's Boyfriend ) are together it is perfect as they all seem to be great friends who just laugh all of the time.

Lily focuses mainly on high end products in her videos but often gives good recommendations for cheaper alternatives as she knows a lot of her viewers are in their teens and do not have tons of money to spend on all of the high end products that Lily uses, which is good for me, I don't really want to be spending all of my money on high end products at the minute. I love Lily because she is still just like a normal person, she is really close to her none youtube friends and often puts them in vlogs, and she tries not to feel pressured by the whole youtuber thing and just tries to live her life.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed reading this quick little post, my posts should be getting longer soon I have 3 weeks until my exams are over, and I will have more time to blog. Please let me know what you think of me doing Youtuber of the Month, as I don't know whether you enjoy reading these posts.

What are your opinions on Lily Pebbles?

Until Next Time, Katie x

Stress 101

Hi, so this week the secret blogger project post is about how to prevent/cope with stress.

During this time many young people are stressed with exams and revision. I know this first hand because I am half way through my GCSE's, the strange thing is I have coped a lot better with all of this pressure than I thought I would be. I do still get stressed and i am sometimes close to having a break down, but I wanted to share all of my tips and tricks to deal with stress, whether ot be exam stress or something else entirely.

Make a To Do list
Sometimes this may stress you out even more, but I think that crossing of something on a To-Do list is such a pleasing thing to do. As you feel like you have accomplished what you need to, and also it means you are more focused on what you really have to do rather than what you could do.

Doing things you love.
I don't want to talk about this a lot as I have a post a few weeks ago talking about pick me- ups which are perfect for this time of year. You can find that HERE. I just think that  doing things that you love can take your mind off whatever is stressing you out, allowing you to relax.

Spend Time With Friends
Especially during exam time we seem to lose contact with our friends as much as we are constantly in and out of exams. Whether it be going to a friends to do revision with them, or like I did last week get a coffee in a free/ study period after an exam, it will help. After my English exam last week about 10 of my friends and I all went to Costa and we just sat and talked for like 2 hours. It such a relaxing thing to do, we also banned any conversation about exams which was really nice.

Remember you are Important
Although it is always good to think about others, During exam time you have to think yourself as the main priority because if you a worrying too much about others during exams sometimes you forget about yourself, which could stress you out even more. My Mam reminds me that sometimes I just need to think about myself and what is best for me, instead of thinking what is best for my friends. It is true, as sometimes when I worry about them I forget how important I am in all of this.

Take a Break
Whether you are revising, or doing something else entirely and you are getting stressed take a break. If you continue working whilst really stressed it will probably stress you out even more. Just sit down with a cup of tea (or whatever else you like to drink) and think about the problem you are facing logically. If you are really stressed you might not be able to think straight, which would not help in this sort of situation.

Remember That It's Not The End of the World
I know during exams we get really stressed but we need to realise that if we don't do as well as we want or we find an exam hard it doesn't mean we have failed. Our exam results don't define who we are as people. Although these exams are important as we decide what we are doing for the future, there are other options if your first plan doesn't work out. So  please do not stress about that too much. We cant do any better than our best, so if you give it your all you can not fail.

Thank you for reading, What are you stressed about at the minute? How are you dealing with it?

Until Next Time, Katie x

Natural Beauty

Hi, so this weeks Secret Blogger Project is natural beauty so I thought I would talk to you about my opinions on  what I think "Natural Beauty" is.

So to begin with I thought it would be a bit weird if I were to talk to you about being confident and happy with your natural beauty if I didn't  show you my natural beauty. This is me, no makeup, my natural hair with no filter or editing this is my natural self. To be completely honest a few months ago if you were to ask me to put a photo on the internet of me with no make-up on I would think you were completely mad. But recently I have started to realise that your Natural Beauty isn't based on someone else's opinion of you, it's about your opinion of yourself, whether you feel confident and happy to embrace your natural self.

I know that I am not perfect in any way shape or form and I know I have many flaws including acne and scars and dry patches and greasy hair. But instead of letting my flaws define who I am, I let my self define it for me. To me, I see myself as a confident young woman, Who aspires to teach others to embrace their natural beauty and be extremely proud of who they are.

I am going to tell you why I am proud of who I am, all though this is quite a task, as I hate pointing good things about myself, I want to show you that it can be easier than you may think to say what you like about yourself. Natural beauty isn't just what is on the outside but on the inside and that is important to remember. So to me I am  proud that I put 100% effort into everything I do, I strive to do the best for myself and others. I am proud that I am a good listener and a good friend and no matter what happens I am always there for other people. I am proud of my natural beauty as even though I do have my flaws I do not let that prevent me from being a confident and happy person. Since I started writing this blog and reading all of my beautiful friends' blog posts, I have seen the true natural beauty in myself, and I have became more confident and comfortable in letting others see my natural beauty, because as soon as you start believing you are naturally beautiful it will be easier  to accept compliments and see things from other people's perspectives.

When I was thinking about what to write for this post I was thinking of maybe doing a makeup post, but I think it is more important to know yourself that you are naturally beautiful. That you are worth more than what you may think. Even if people don't like or understand you, it is important that you are confident and happy with yourself, you know that your flaws do not define you as a person, you know that no matter what you think there is always something about you which is beautiful and you know that the most important person in this world to you is you, so if you want to flaunt your natural beauty go for it, if you want to do something others may say is weird, do it. Just do what ever you need to do to make you feel happy and you feel beautiful on the outside but most importantly on the inside as well.

Thanks for reading, I really hope you have enjoyed this post, I think I could have gone on forever and ever talking about this.  Why are you proud of your natural beauty ?

Until Next Time, Katie x

Q&A

Hi, I am aware I said I would be only posting once a week, but I had this post written and figured I might as well put it up.So on my little update post I asked for you to send your questions in for a little q&a. So here you go, I hope you enjoy.

Dalal:  What is your favourite fashion store?
I don't like to spend loads of money on clothes, as I don't have a lot of money to spend, so I'd probably say Primark or Select.

Dalal: Would you rather have Elephant ears for fingers or camel teeth for toes?
This question made me laugh. I think I'd rather have camel teeth for toes because can you imagine trying to pick things up and do things with giant fingers.

Dalal: What is on my wishlist from benefit?
There is so much that I want from benefit, but I don't think my bank balance would enjoy that. I really want to try the Gimme Brow, the Foundation, The Porefesional.

Charlotte: Favourite drugstore brand?
I think you may notice a theme in these answers that I like the cheaper brands, I really like MUA for eyeshadows, Rimmel for foundation and powder and Maybelline for mascara.

Becca: If you could have any superpower in the world, what would you have?
I've been thinking about this a lot and I think shape shifting would be good, because if I wanted to fly i could turn into a bird and if I wanted to run fast I could turn into a cheetah.

Nidhi: What is your go-to summer makeup product?
I think that a bright lipstick is perfect for the summer as it can completely change a look. Recently I have been using the Rimmel Kate lipstick in 06, it is an extremely bright pink.

I hope you enjoyed reading my posts, what is your go- to summer make-up product?

Makeup Revolution Haul

Hey, so recently I had a bit of a splurge on Make-up revolution and took the Superdrug's 3 for 2 to my advantage. Makeup Revolution are a UK brand, with products that usually range from £1-£10. They are extremely affordable and do incredible dupes for higher end makeup. Which I would like to try. I really wanted to get the white chocolate bar palette but it was out of stock. You can buy it at Superdrug or on their website. Please let me know what you would like me to review in detail, I'm aiming to  review all of these products at some point, I hope you enjoy this post.

The first product I bought was the Blush Palette in Sugar and Spice, because I have heard a lot about it. I have been looking into trying some different blush shades and these are all really pretty, I cant wait to use it. It also has a big mirror which is great especially for travel.

Next I wanted to get a palette for my prom eye makeup, I saw The Redemption Give Them Nightmares Palette and thought it looked perfect for prom. It is also good for experimenting with brighter colours outside of my comfort zone when it comes to makeup .

I also really wanted to try one of their baked highlighters because they look really pretty and great for the Spring and Summer. I decided to get The Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights as it looks like such a perfect natural highlight shade.

The next thing I got were two eye-liners from the I Heart Make Up All Day and Night Liners collection. The first one is called Dangerous Games and is a blue toned grey which I thought would be cool to try. The second is called Channelling My Inner and is more of a bronze colour which I thought would be perfect for soft Spring and Summer eye looks.

Next thing I got was a lipstick from the £1 pound lipstick range. The shade is Reckless, and I think it's a perfect dark red for when Autumn comes around again.

Finally I bought 3 lip crayons from the I Heart Makeup The WOW Stick collection. These are lip crayons with a matte finish.
The first I got is called Maria and it is my favourite one from the ones I bought it is a perfect pink/purple tone  for the Autumn. The second is called Hanging On The Telephone and is a bright Fuchsia pink, which I thought would be perfect for the spring, as I am looking to try some brighter lipsticks. The final one is called Call Me, which is a perfect red for the Spring and Summer.

I hope you enjoyed the post. Have you tried Makeup Revolution? What are your favourite products?

Youtuber of the Month - The SacconeJolys

Hi, sorry for the quality of my posts, I explained in my last post which you can find HERE. Last month I forgot to post my youtuber review, so anyway I have been really loving the SacconeJolys Youtube Videos, you can check them out HERE, and i thought I would write this month's post about them.

Until recently i had only seen the SacconeJolys in Zoe and Alfie's Vlogs, but then I realised I should probably subscribe to them and I did.

The SacconeJolys are a family made up of Anna, Jonathon and their two lovely children, Emelia who is nearly 3, and Eduardo who has just turned 1. Of course not forgetting their 6 maltese dogs: Bianca, Albi, Sina, Theo, Nivea and Nuvola. They are a really cute family who have moved from Ireland to London. Their Youtube Channel consists of daily vlogs where they show their viewers the everyday normal life.

To begin with I love their accents, I have a really big soft spot for Irish accents, especially in men, I don't really know why, but anyway, Jonathon's accent is perfect. Also their children are incredibly cute, and I have enjoyed watching them grow up, like Eduardo learning to walk. Jonathon is quite funny and never fails to make me smile.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my post. Do you like the SacconeJolys?

Just A Little Update

Hi, I seem to do these quite often but I like letting you know what's going on. As most of you probably know I am in year 11 taking my GCSE's in just over a weeks time (eeeek) So during this time i will only be posting once a week, which I have already started to do. I hope you understand that my Exam's will always come first, and my posts may not be the most creative, because I really don't have time. But after the 19th June my blogging is taking a bigger priority. I have an extremely long summer holiday, so look forward to lots of posts.

Also, I am planning of doing a Q&A soon, so that you can get to know me a bit better. So in the comments it would be great if you could leave any questions that you would like to ask??

I just also wanted to let you know that your comments mean the absolute world to me, I will always reply and check out your blog if you leave a link, I don't say it enough, but your comments always brighten up my day and I thank you for taking time to comment.

Final question, which posts of mine are your favourite to read?, There are certain ones I love to write, I'm just wondering whether they are the same ones that you like to read. I want to create a balance of things that I like to write, and things that you want to see. So any thoughts will be great.

Thank you for reading my quick little update.

Until Next Time, Katie
