Would You Rather - Beauty Edition Tag

Hi, i stole this idea from my friend at ChimplyAmazing, you should check out her blog. She blogs about beauty,fashion, and lifestyle. I decided  would do the Would you rather beauty edition tag thing. So that you know a little more about me. I hope you enjoy.

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip-glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows? I'd rather lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows  because I need my mascara. 
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again? I did cut it quite short back in year 7 and I just wanted it to grow longer, so probably never cut it again.
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek? Coral, I don't wear blush a lot, but I would rather have a coral cheek i think, I don't know why. 
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup? Clothes, even though I don't really need any more.
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick? Eye liner as lipstick. I don't have a reason
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora? Sephora, I don't shop at either of these but Id rather have a choice of different brands.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life? One eyeshadow colour, it's usually the same everyday. 
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter? Winter clothes all summer, I love winter clothes and in Britain the summers aren't that hot anyway.
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round? Dark Nails, I think they go with everything.
10.) Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product? Lip product, because I prefer to experiment more with my lips and haven;'t really got a stand out favourite.
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun? Pony tail, bun's don't really suit me and I can do a lot of different things with a pony tail.
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss? Paint my nails, I don't really paint them that much anyway.
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday? Probably sharpie them in, i don't know it;'s a hard question.
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish? Nail polish, like I said before I don't really wear nail varnish, so it doesn't make a difference.

Things that are Making Me Happy

Hi, so I thought that I would make up for the fact that I haven't posted a lot recently. Which I mentioned in my previous post. But I thought I would share some of the things that are making me happy at the minute.

Long Conversations With My Best Friend
Since I have been off school for the past week I haven't spoke to my best friend in person. This means that when we start texting we can talk for ages. I am not going to tell  you what we talk about, but I tell her everything that's on my mind. Sometimes you just need somebody who you can offload all of your problems onto, and that's what we do with each other.It always lifts a weight off my shoulder after finally telling someone what has been on my mind. This makes me feel happier as I have less negative energy building up inside.

I have just recently got Pinterest and I am already in love. I only have one board at the minute, which is my Prom Board because I have my prom in June this year. There you will see the dress I have decided on getting and any possible hairstyles, make-up ideas etc. Please tell me what you think of it. I have been loving Pinterest because it makes me happy to look through lots of different photos to get inspiration. And I will be using it a lot more, so if there is anything you would like to see please suggest it.

Hot Chocolate
I know it is a bit of a weird one, but I have always loved hot chocolate and recently I have been drinking buckets( not literally) of it. I don't know what it is about it but it's really making me happy, so I thought I would put it in here.

Youtube
Although, Youtube always makes me happy, it has been doing it a lot more recently. I can spend forever just watching videos, there are some Youtubers who never fail to make me laugh.

My Blog
Yes, I know it is a bit Cliché  but I am really enjoying posting on this blog for you. What makes me happier is the support and love I get from you all, I enjoying seeing that people like to read my blog, people from all over the world and I hope it makes you happy. Thankyou for always taking time to read my posts as I do put a lot of thought into them. I don't think you really know how much it means to me to have this little part of the internet, which is mine to share with you.

A little Catch-Up

Hi, I am sorry that this is up later than usual, I thought it had saved, well obviously not and I have had to write it again.I wanted to just give you a little up-date on my life and blog at the minute. I am sorry about the lack of posting recently, i have been trying to balance school work and my blog but I am really struggling. As you might know I am in year 11 and doing my GCSE's later this year and they take priority. So I hope you understand that although I will try to post twice a week, sometimes that might not be possible because I have a lot of revision and homework for school.

If you have read my last post, you may know that I have been in hospital for an operation on my ear, the doctors think it went well. If you have any questions about going into hospital and having an operation, I would love to answer them, so leave them below.

The second thing, I have been looking to try some new beauty products from the "drugstore" and I was wondering whether any of my lovely readers could recommend any beauty products that are worth trying. As I am also looking forward to doing some reviews and tutorials.

Me and and my sister love baking, and we bake every week together. It is my favourite thing to do to relax and de-stress. I was wondering whether you would like to see some blog posts on baking and on some of my favourite recipes, because that is something I would love to do.

Hi, I'm really sorry for not posting on Saturday, my laptop hasn't been working properly. However I am going to hospital tomorrow and will be off from school for at least a week, so I will have time to write some good posts. Youtuber of the Month - Zoella

Hi, so I have had this idea of doing a sort of series thing where I post a review of some of my favourite youtubers and i will maybe post one once a month, I do have a lot. So let me know what you think of this idea.

The first youtuber I am going to review is Zoe Sugg AKA Zoella, as she is the first youtuber I ever watched.

Zoe is a British Youtuber who has just gained 7 million subscribers. She makes videos about beauty fashion and lifestyle and she started out with a blog. Her audience grew and she got her own beauty range and she wrote a book. She has done all of this and she is only in her mid- 20s.

I think Zoe is an inspirational vlogger, she makes videos about topics that
are personal to her such as anxiety, and although she isn't a therapist, she tries to give advice and lets everyone know that there is someone going through similar things. She is not afraid to fully expose herself in her videos, shown by one video where she uploaded a vlog, where she was overwhelmed and crying which shows us that she is in fact a person too.

However her channel isn't all serious she has comedy in some parts, mostly her collabs with her best friends, these always make me happy when I'm not having the best of days. Her beauty and fashion advice is always helpful and she gives us tips on how to lead a healthy, happy life.

MUA Haul

Hello, recently I have been shopping on the MUA website as there has been a 35% off sale which I wanted to check out, which has unfortunately ended, however MUA's products are inexpensive anyway which is why it is a great makeup brand for us girls who don't have a lot of money to spend on makeup. I purchased quite a few items which I will be showing you today, the price shown will be the price that I paid for the product but this might not necessarily be the price when you read this post. Small Fashion Haul

Hello, since i have returned back to school I will be be posting hopefully on a Wednesday and a Sunday, this probably will change as i get closer to my exams but I decided this will be good for now.

Today I am going to be showing you a few of the items of clothing I purchased last week, I decided I would take a look at the January sales and see what bargains I could get.Sorry about the photos the weather has been pretty bad lately so the lighting hasn't been great. I hope you enjoy. 

Primark- Fault in our Stars Pyjamas.

In Primark I saw these Pyjamas for £5 and I decided that I needed them. I absolutely love the fault in our stars, and this is one of my favourite quotes from the film and book. They come with a pair of blue shorts and the tank top shown in the photo. 

Primark- Jeans

I saw these Khaki jeans in Primark which are the exact same style as the purple ones which I always wear. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and try this colour as they will go nice with a few of the jumpers I already own. These were not in the sale and cost me £8

Select- Black Skater dress
So I saw this in Select for £10 and thought it was really pretty, and I think that it is just a nice dress to where everyday, all year round. I especially like the white collar and I think it will look great with  bold lip colour and bold accessories.

Select- White  Long sleeved top. 
I'm really sorry about this picture this top had gotten extremely wrinkly and this photo doesn't give it justice. However I love the sheer part at the bottom as it gives this top a slight edge. This was £6 in the sale

Girl Online: Review

Hey, today I am going to review  Zoe Sugg's (AKA Zoella) book called Girl Online this is the first book review I have done so I would love some feedback. I received this book for Christmas from my parents and I read it all in the same day, it was extremely enticing and I couldn't put it down.

 Penny (The main character in the story) is in year 11, she enjoys photography and she writes a secret blog which only her best friend Elliot knows about. This book shows how Penny copes with her anxiety, and meeting the boy of her dreams, it also covers subjects such as homosexuality and cyber bullying.

I think that this book covers these issues very well, as it educates the reader on all these different things which they may not know about, which may help them understand more. It also gives an insight into the life of someone who suffers with anxiety and it explains how we could maybe help someone who was having a panic attack.

I really enjoy the fact that through this book you can see a part of Zoe and you know that she had written it. I have watched Zoella on YouTube for around two years and this makes me extremely proud. However I would say the only downside is that it could be seen as childish and an unrealistic representation on teenage girls, especially by adults. But I think it is an excellent novel and worth the read as it is addicting and constantly making you want to find out what happens next. I can also empathise with Penny which makes this book extremely relatable to me and my life.
