W7 In The Nude Palette Review.

Hi, So today I thought I would review the In the Nude Palette from W7 because I have had it for quite a while. I will also show you a eye look using only colours from this palette. Enjoy.

I really like the shade range in this palette. It is focused more on pinky tones which may seem a bit  daunting at first as sometimes they may be quite hard to create a nice look with.
left to right: Latte, Angel, Venice,Marilyn,Copper Pot, Sun Kissed,
Alice, Bad Manners,Coffee Cup, Mud Slide, Tokyo, Fashionista.

The shades are quite pigmented and the shimmery ones are definitely more than the others. I think the only problem with these eyeshadows is that there is quite a b fallout, however they are perfect in all other aspects.
So n
ow for the eye look. I started by applying Angel all over the lid I then applied Alice and Sun Kissed through the crease to create a warmer look. Then I took coffee cup and Mud Slide on the outer part of my lid and blended using a soft blending brush. I then applied Latte in my Inner corner to finnish off the look. I tried to make this look quite subtle so that it is easy to wear everyday.
Thanks For reading. Do you like W7 products, which are your favourites?

The Script 23/02/15

Hello, so on Monday I went with my brother to Metro Radio Arena to see The Script. The Script are my all time favourite band. We were queuing for around 1.5 hours in the cold, but it was worth it. When we got into the arena we got right to the front, the second row standing, which was incredible. I thought I would just show you some of the photos that I took, they aren't the best quality but I had an amazing night and I cant wait to do it again.

Glen Smiled at me like 6 times and I touched Danny OMG!

Look How close Danny was to me.

And Mark on his guitar.

And another one of Glen.

            Here they all are.

I hope you liked my quick post. Do you like The Script?, Who is your favourite band?

Shopping Haul

Hi,I just wanted to say, thankyou for all of your support it means a lot to me. So a few days ago I went shopping and I bought quite a few things, so I thought I would show you them.

Firstly I went to Superdrug, and although I promised myself I wouldn't buy any more makeup this month, I bought an MUA Blusher in the shade Bon Bon which was £1
Then in Home Bargains I found this makeup sponge which was only £1. I wanted to try it out to see what I could use it for before buying a Real Techniques sponge.

I then bought this top from Select Sale, because I thought it would be great for the summer to pair with skater skirts. I think this was only £3

I then went into Primark and bought some more Jeans, not that I needed any more, I thin I am addicted. I just really liked the colour of these. They are really soft and comfortable too. They were £11. Sorry for the dog bed in the picture.

This is something that I saw in Select for £5 and fell in love with. I own quite a lot of sheer tops, so I thought this would be perfect to go underneath them. The lace deatailing is really pretty and I love the way that it looks.

Me and My sister decided it was time to buy Tanya Burr's new book called Love Tanya because we really wanted to read it. And also Zoe's Body Mist, which smells incredible. These are two things that we have wanted for a while but we finally decided to buy them.
Finally I went to Wilkinsons and bought a few things for my revision. I bought two refill pads, some dividers, two plain files, a cute lever arch file with a French Bulldog and a really cute notebook. I am planning on making a few posts on my revision techniques so please comment if you would like to see that.

Thankyou for reading. Have you got any of these items?, what would you like to see on my blog next?

Compliments

Hi, so I thought I would do sort of a chatty type of post about compliments. I hope you enjoy.

To be honest I don't really get a lot of complements usually. But recently people have started to comment on my hair, as I like to wear quite unique hairstyles. All though this is only a small thing, every time someone says something nice to me it boosts my confidence and I feel a little bit happier with myself. It's because if you start accepting compliments then you start to believe in them yourself.

I think that we need to compliment each other more, because we rarely ever tell people what we really think. This could brighten up someone's day and make them a lot happier.

I thought that all of my lovely readers could just go out tomorrow and compliment someone on something you like about them, it doesn't have to be something big but it would be nice to brighten someone else's day and it might make you feel better too.

Please comment on this post telling me who you have complemented as I would really like to hear.

MUA Make-Up Tutorial

Hi, My sister found my blog Hi Beth, I know you are reading.Thank you for over 50 views on my last blog post. That is actually incredible.I told you I would make up for lost time.So I promised I would review the products that I bought from MUA and I thought it would be more beneficial to do a full face make up look  with the products and I will tell you which ones or worth the purchase. Again sorry for the photo quality I am trying to fix my camera.I have not used the MUA brushes as I haven't tried them. Has anyone else? I hope you enjoy.

I started by applying The Pro Base Primer all over my face with my fingers, this evened out my skin and made it a lot easier to apply the foundation.
I then Applied the Undress Your Skin Foundation using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush. I really love this foundation as it gives a gorgeous matte finish, however you have to work with it quite quickly otherwise it drie and is hard to blend into the skin.
Unfortunately I couldn't find my MUA concealer so I had to use Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, I do actually like their concealer as it has a nice creamy consistency.
I then powdered my face with the MUA powder using the Real Techniques Multi Task Brush, I have to say that I dont really like this powder as it is quite visible on the skin, but it is okay for the price.
The final product I used on my face was the Mosaic Bronzer in the shade Sunkissed Glow, this has quite a pinky tone to it so I just applied it onto my cheeks, and it worked as a blush and a bronzer.

I then Moved onto my eyes.
I started by filling in my eyebrows, using the MUA Luxe Eye Power Brow. I have been using this for my eyebrows everyday since I bought it, it is perfect for me as it doesn't look like I have drawn my eyebrows on.
I then primed my eyes using the Eye Primer, I am not sure whether this actually makes my eye shadows last longer. I can't really notice any difference.
I then used the heaven and earth palette to create this look. I applied Myan Dusy all over my lid, then I applied Amazonian Bronze on the outer half of the lid and blended with the Real Techniques blending brush.  I applied Canyon right on the outer edge of the eyeshadow and blended Then I used Aurora in my inner corner. I think that the MUA eye shadows are incredible. The pay off is definitely better with the shimmer colours rather than the Mattes, but at £4 I don't think there is a reason not to buy this palette.
I then lined my upper lash line using the Extreme Felt Liner. I think this might be the worst product I have ever bought from MUA. The eye-liner is quite difficult to apply and the colour is quite washed out, i don't recommend you buy this.
I have never actually tried any of the MUA mascaras, so I dont know what they are like. But I will link you to a blog post which reviews two. HERE

Finally Lips. I used the Matte Lipstick in Scarlet Siren and then the Intense Kisses High Intensity Gloss in Quick Kiss, over the top. I think this gave my lips a nice finish. I would say the Matte Lipsticks are quite drying and hard to apply, but I really love the shade, and especially when they are used with a lip gloss.

Thank You for Reading. Have you tried any of these products?

Until Next Time, Katie xx

Youtuber of the Month - Miss Budget Beauty

Hi, This Month I am going to be reviewing Mikhila AKA Miss Budget Beauty. Over the last month I haven't had a of time to watch some of my favourite Youtubers, but I came across Miss Budget Beauty and watched a ton of her videos and I haven't missed one since.

Mikhila makes videos about cheaper Make Up and beauty brands and reviews a lot of products. This is extremely helpful because as a teenager I don't really have a lot of money to spend on Make up and I often go to the drugstore brands. Mikhila makes it feel okay to not have all of the MAC and Sephora products because as long as we feel happy it doesn't matter what brands we are wearing.

Mikhila also has a blog and another Youtube channel where she talks more about High End products. She stands out from other Beauty Vloggers because her reviews are always honest and she can honestly give very specific reviews regarding the products. She makes it a lot easier to be a teenager.

Thanks for reading, what do you think of Miss Budget Beauty?

Maybelline Review

Hi, i am sorry that I haven't posted for two weeks, my school decided it would be nice to just throw loads of assessments at us. I am hoping to make it up to you this half term and I will try to post more than usual. Today I am going to do a review of a few things I have recently purchased from Maybelline. I am sorry for the  photo quality my camera has broken again.

The first product i bought is a new Maybelline product that has just came out called Lash Sensational Mascara. Maybelline claim "Our first LAYER-REVEAL brush: Inner bristles capture the tiniest lashes you didn’t know you had whilst outer bristles volumise & define the look of longer lashes. From corner to corner, top to bottom, no lash is left behind. Our liquid ink formula, with a low wax count creates the blackest of black lashes that are so dark and defined. Layers can be built without clumping."  I am in love with the wand on this mascara, it is different but really effective. I think that it effectively gives you volume and length. My only problem is that this doesn't come in waterproof. I prefer waterproof mascara because it holds a curl better and it's safer especially in England where it tends to rain a lot.

The second thing I bought was The Master Precise Liner. I think this is also a relatively new product. Eye liner is my worst enemy and I can never seem to get it right, however this felt tip liner makes everything a lot easier. The tip isn't too flexible or thick which I can find with a lot of felt-tip eye liners. It is definitely worth the purchase as you don't have to spend ages trying to get your eyes perfect.

Top- On and On Bronze
Bottom- Eternal Gold
Finally, I am aware I am extremely late to this, but I thought it was time to but some ever famous Colour Tatoos. I got the shades On and On Bronze and Eternal Gold as I thought they would be perfect for everyday wear. I honestly don't know what I have been doing without these products in my life. They are complete lifesavers. They make great bases or just for an all over the lid wash of colour, which is perfect for when you are in a rush.I absolutely love the formula and the creamy consistancey of these eyeshadows as it means I can apply and blend with my fingers which is great for someone who is quite lazy like me.

Thank for reading. What do you think of Maybelline?
